Have Some Cake On Us

The Blogway is one year old today. Hard to believe I've been blogging only a year. Oh right... I've been complaining for so much longer, I guess it just blended.

I'm so grateful to all of you who come by to see what Rory and I have to share. We really appreciate it. But I must thank Gindy for being one of my first commenters, if not the first, which opened me up to "meeting" so many of you. Now help yourself to the cake.

Happy Birthday to your blog.

I still can not figure why some blogs are troll magnets . However it maybe that you are to nice to attract trolls.

Thanks everyone. Seawitch -- that was awesome!

Rory, yay that you finally made it online! I knew you'd get here eventually since I teased you to death beforehand that I was doing this. ;) And thank YOU for venting here. I remember seeing your posts on Clarity & Resolve and being so bummed you didn't have your own blog. So I'm thrilled I finally get to read your rants on your own chosen topics.

Beak, maybe this one is too boring for your trolls? Or my comments are yours don't excite them? Which frankly, is fine by me. ;)

Esther

My blog did not start out in its present form . Early in the beginig we were attacked by anti semitic trolls who invaded a pro American site. I do not spend much time on Israel even for a Jewish blog.

However, Warren and I hit back hard and 167 still invades but infrequently. The left fled rather then deal with Mr Beamish and Jason Papas.

There are plenty of other Jewish bloger who blog on Israel including yourself and another friend Pam of Atlas Shrugged . I ended up with a site that at times
resembles something out of the WWE at times.

Each blog takes its own shape and life. My blog also does book reviews and Vermont local life. You are too sweet to troll and I use trolls as entertainment.

Mazel tov! What a wonderful blog! Makes me feel "connected" and human again.

Posting "Christmas Eve", as a secular person, married to a secular Jew!

Let's echo the best of both testaments: "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Is that Old Testament? Lamentably ignorant as I am... But I like the words anyway and they seem very appropriate to OTB!) "Blessed are the pure in heart".

Bless you, Esther and Rory. Keep it up!

BTW - Better Half is busy in the sitting room watching "Voyager"... Do like Janeway...

Thank you, felis. :) You too, Sarge....especially for always cracking me up. AOW, it goes quickly. :)

Beak...the WWE? LOL!!! But I think you're right. Awww tim, thank you!

RM, thank you for that! By the way, Janeway rules. The actress started on Ryan's Hope, an old, long dead soap opera, and she was fantastic on it. Kate Mulgrew is quite the pistol. She attended a tribute show to soaps that I worked on. We asked her to put out her cigarette (it was indoors and therefore illegal, actually) and she refused. Charming. ;) I also saw her once walking down the street in NYC. She is definitely a character!
