Hillary Clinton -- Simply Amazing

Most of you know, I'm not overly fond of Hillary. That said, her speech today at the AIPAC policy conference was AMAZING. She is an incredible speaker and as I sat there listening, I got overcome with the feeling (I'm not one to feel psychic but it was an eerie feeling) that I was watching the next president of the United States. Regardless, she is a force to be reckoned with. Please read it here and feel free to ask me questions or comment about it.

I am also not sold on Hillary as she is surrounded by too many radicals. She does have a good staff . However I was only able to
get help via my Rep.

How did the crowd greet her.

Standing O when she walked in.

What kind of help do you mean...via your Rep?

"as she is surrounded by too many radicals."
She definetely was very radical herself during her Uni years.

She has experienced professionals writing her speeches, and she was always considered the brighter of the two, not that I agree with her policies. I also consider her adopting NY as carpetbagging.

Oh, I'm not saying I support her or even want her to run. I'm simply saying, her presence, her power in speaking (which isn't just the speech writers, who are quite good, but it's her delivery) is going to make her a formidable foe to anyone else who may want the job in 2008. And if enough people get sucked in by the Kool-Aid her performance delivers, I could see her winning. She says the right things now.

Believe me, I remember what she was saying before. She will be watched like a hawk now I'm sure.

Gindy -- it wasn't just a hug. She did the European kiss -- both cheeks. My stomach turned.

The saving grace about Hillary is the fact that she's married to one of the most politically savvy men in the country. In the past, she did have a tendency to take somewhat more left-wing positions on some issues, but he's going to drag her into the middle even if she goes kicking and screaming, although so far she seems very compliant. One thing I'll say for her is, while a number of Jewish politicians in New York, including Mayor Bloomberg and Sen. Chuck Schumer have been falling all over themselves to win the support of a small, but influential, fringe group known as the Independence Party, which is headed by an unapologetic anti-Semite named Lenora Fulani, Hillary has been treating the bitch as if she were a leper.

I should have mentioned that this Independence Party I referred to is a LEFT-wing fringe group. (So, Patrick, do you think it's okay for you to come out now?) And, Gindy, I hope you won't hold our college politics against us. In those days, I would have made Hillary Clinton look like Tom DeLay.

A very bold post indeed, Esther! I did a triple-take to make sure I was on the right site. But rest easy. She is not going to get the nomination (, he said, more as a prayer than a prediction . . .).

I haven't done a 180 on Hillary, but I've done a 135. I no longer despise her and am willing to give her a chance to dispel the image she's been saddled with. I believe some of the criticisms of her are unfair. I just haven't separated out the fair ones from the unfair ones, yet.

I can not explain the exact details
but it involved Israeli bonds. There are situations where ownership of Israeli Bonds is a disadvantage.
