Sorry Guys

My brain's in the weeds today. Wish I could do a more meaningful post, but I just can't bring myself to put my thoughts together.

So I'll wish Shabbat Shalom and L'Shana Tova (tho this isn't my official New Year's post) to whom it applies...and everyone else, have a great weekend.

Maybe I need coffee. Hmm...

Wish I could do a more meaningful post

Esther, this IS a meaningful post! It's a cat, and cats are always meaningful.

Cats are meaningful and beautiful and sometimes can perk you up better than coffee. :)

Cheers.Happy thoughts being sent your way.

WHAT a great shot! Yes, good shabbas. We shall be breaking it in true secular fashion by food shopping (nightmare).

First two New Year cards arrived yesterday. Buying Jewish New Year cards in waspy Bath, UK, is a yearly challenge, BTW.

News on the fires?

Haha, thanks AOW!

so true, seawitch. Thanks. :)

RM -- thank you!! I love my new digital camera. You know you can shop for New Year cards online if there aren't any to be had in Bath. If I had my scanner working, I'd try to upload pictures I took years ago in Bath. Course, they look a little rough. They almost got destroyed (by water) in my apartment fire. ;) Oh wait! I think I might them on CD from when I rescued my old computer ..oooh...perhaps one should be uploaded in your honor when I can't write a post again...which might be today, lol. Not sure if the fires are contained yet. It was up to 20% yesterday. I'll be fine though. Thanks!

Felis...purr....

Would love to see some shots of Bath when you have a moment. Any of you?

We discovered a cache of unused New Year cards this morning! All written and posted now. Thanks for advice, though.

Spent this afternoon in the Botanical Gardens (did you ever see them?) trying to draw in a cold norwesterly. Result can be seen on my blog - a bit of a disaster. Uploaded to make it clear to blog visitors that I can be real crap at times!

Fires: I pray for rain. Do the cats react to the smell of smoke?

"L'Shana Tova" (in advance) to you and your mom, and to Seawitch as well!

Esther, both you and Seawitch take outstanding photos. Really, you guys are truly gifted.

Sorry for not checking in more often. Work has been unbelievably busy, with the end of the federal fiscal year and all.

Have a happy new year from the cultural wasteland. I will be heading home again on the 20th I can not wait.

New material and writers block is common. Fortunately , I have a comedic anti semitic prop in London.

RM, I think my cats did react that first night with the smell. But they seem fine now. Thanks. And I put up pictures for you. At least I tried. ;) I will look at yours tomorrow, I promise. I'm a bit zonked after fighting with blogger tonight. ;)

jonathan, I was about to send you an email since it had been so long. But I know your job keeps you busy. Thanks for the New Year wishes. Right back atcha. :) My mother will be very happy, and I know she'd want me to wish you L'Shana Tova for her. And thanks about the pictures! I love photography.

Beak, safe travels back. Hope it's a festive New Year for you!

Thanks, muse. You're so right.
