New Digital Camera!


It's the Pentax *ist DS digital camera. I decided on this one over Nikon and Canon because I have a bag full of Pentax lenses (from my youthful hobby) that can be used with their digital camera. If I had gotten either of the other two, I would have been stuck with just the lens that comes with it -- for quite a long time. Of course, to take this rose picture, I used the basic lens but that won't always be the case.

I have one but it is one of those fully automatic Sony 1.3 Mega pixel thingy.

I wanted to get Olympus EVOLT E-300 with one full Zoom lense, standard lense and a macrolense.
It costs ca 1800 and my missus said N0 Way - you already have one.
And I just feel I am being treated harshly.:-(

I can understand your feeling that way felis. :( What about a compromise -- and get one inbetween that one and the one you have?
