No Surprise -- UN Morally Bankrupt... Again
The UN will be silent about the bombing in Netanya. According to John Bolton, we have Algeria to thank. They've blocked the release of a statement from the Security Council. Figures.

From the article: "Algeria objected to the reference to Syria and to the reference to Palestinian Islamic Jihad," even though the group claimed responsibility for the attack and the Palestinians said the orders came from Damascus, according to Bolton.
So what if Algeria objected?
I don't know why anyone pays diddly to what the UN says. They're so passe.

I would expect nothing from some of the member nations of the UN. After all, they recently had a day of solidiarty with the Palestinians and featured a map in which did not include Israel.
"they recently had a day of solidiarty with the Palestinians and featured a map in which did not include Israel."
And the refused to condemn the latest suicide bombing where 5 Israelis were killed.
This is no surprise. I don't care if they don't agree with Israel's government murder of innocents is never acceptable and should be condemned.
So what indeed, AOW! Beats me.
LOL bw. ;) Certainly for us. Sadly many on the left still look to them for moral guidence on world matters.
Exactly seawitch! Morally bankrupt organization.
Felis, that's what this post was about. :)
JP, right on! That's exactly it. Who cares if they don't like a govt's policies -- targeting civilians is never kosher.... so to speak.
"Felis, that's what this post was about. :)"
Just stressing your point and shaking my head. ;-)
