Vote No!
For the past several weeks the Christian Science Monitor has been conducting an on-line poll asking the question:
"Should US-based churches boycott certain companies doing business with Israel?"
Please click here and vote NO! (it's halfway down the middle of the page)
As of the email I got about it today, 59.5% have answered yes.

Why is one web site poll (an opinion measurment device so terribly UNscientific that people of reason consider them slightly less accurate and relevant than horoscopes)so important?
Israel sucks. Saudi Arabia sucks. North Korea sucks. The US sucks. France sucks. Most governments are screwed up and evil. Why get so stirred up over a tiny poll about one country?
Hmm.... I guess because I care deeply about that tiny country. And it's not just because I'm Jewish and I know that country is all that stands between me (being able to live) and another Holocaust. I love it because of her history, of all she's done to survive. Because she has amazing people there who would give their lives to save it. They believe in something so strongly they're willing to risk everything to live there. They're brave, they're honorable and they care. They are far from perfect (we all are) but did you know that country has been responsible for so many wonderous discoveries? Do you like that cell phone you have? Thank Israel for the technology. Do you love using instant messenger on your computer? Thank Israel. Do you love that soon you won't have to have a tube stuck down your throat to see your intestines (trust me -- it SUCKS) but rather you'll be able to swallow a small pill with an even smaller camera in it? Thank Israel. I could go on and on and on and on because they're responsible for so much.
My question to you -- why do think everything sucks? That's got to make life a drag for you to carry around such negativity. You might want to try lightening up. It's better for your health.
