The Taste of Freedom

And I don't mean Iraq.

My short-term job has ended! Woohoo! So now I'm free to blog and read your blogs. Course, it does have a downside... like no paycheck coming in, but I can't say I'm upset by the tradeoff. Sometimes it's best to move on to something less crazy.

So what'd I miss?

Esther,
Yesterday I returned to work.
I should be happy I have a good job which will help me to repair the damage inflicted upon my bank account by my recent travels.
So why do I feel like attending my own funeral?

Thanks muse! Will do!

Boz, I'd LOVE to win lotto too! Now where do I find the tickets? :)

esther,

I am learning some of the advantages of being unemployed:

1: You can catch up on Judge Judy episodes

2: You become better acquainted with your vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, washer and dryer

3: You can rearrange your furniture at least once a week now

4: You have more time to teach your bird to whistle The Bridge Over the River Kwai

5: You can catch up on your reading if you can sit still long enough.

what did you miss? How about I give you some legless in perpetuum news before it even reaches the press?

The bed and the food have been purchased, and there will be a new addition to our household today... just after my mother heads down to the cat adoption centre in a few hours

I am SO excited... there will be a naming competition once I get a photo!

Seawitch, I love your list!! I so wish I was into cleaning. But I'm going to try. Substitute the Judge Judy with soaps and we're on the same page -- except I'll teach the song to my cat. :)

rachy -- AWESOME news!!!!! Can't wait to see the new addition!
