Not Just the Arab Press

Naomi Ragen has another important article to tell us about called, "Anti-Semitism at Le Monde and Beyond." I highly suggest you read it.

I don't think the French like anyone, other than the French that is.

you know, I'm not gonna read it. Because it's Saturday and officially Low Blood Pressure Day. Reading about the french and their treatment of Jews is likely to change the second part...

TS, lol.

MoM, you're very welcome.

bw, i understand completely. Normally I would have added commentary (I rarely click links on other blogs), etc....but it would have just made my blood boil too much to do it so I figured I'd just point you all to it. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Esther!

Thanks for linking that-it was an interesting piece.

It`s good to see the French finally applying their own laws evenhandedly. Usually they pick and choose.

Of course, I hadn`t seen the original Le Monde article, but this points out the problems with not having freedom of speech. The French have felt free to publish any hate-filled vitriol against Israel and Judaism, but has aggressively pursued anyone making any statements against Islam or any other protected class in France (remember Bridgett Bardot?) Our way of doing things is better; let people speak their minds openly (provided you are not inciting violence). The problem with speech laws is that whoever is in charge of enforcing them can choose to enforce what is pleasing to them.

Tran sient, I think you`re right; the French DON`T like anyone other then the French!

Le Monde is as commie-left as they come.
All leftie magazines have an open anti-semitic season.
Have you read the CounterPunch lately?
