Report: Anti-Semitism Rife in Muslim & Arab Press

The ADL's latest report about the Arab press is not exactly a surprise but still thorough. Check out their country-by-country analysis.

Horrible stuff, Esther. I read through all of it. When I hear people talking about Islam being a religion of peace and terrorists being only a small number, I have to wonder if they're ever read the Arab press.

Have you ever visited Radio Islam?

Their motto is:
Radio Islam is working to promote better relations between the West and the Muslim World. Radio Islam is against racism of all forms, against all kinds of discrimination of people based on their colour of skin, faith or ethnical bakground.

I will be with DHS in Vermont . If you had an email site I would get more specific . You are a valued friend.

Beak, I took care of that. :)

Felis, that was one vile site. Egads! I thought the following, that was right after what you pasted, was rather precious:

"Consequently, Radio Islam is against Jewish racism towards non-Jews. World Jewish Zionism, today, constitutes the last racist ideology still surviving and the Zionist's state of Israel, the last outpost of "Apartheid" in the World. Israel constitutes by its mere existence a complete defiance to all international laws, rules and principles, and the open racism manifested in the Jewish State is a violation of all ethics and morals known to Man."

I think I need to go take a shower now. Ick.

Are there any descent media sources from the Arab world or is it all like this?

Amir Tahiri is an Iranian that publishes a great collumn from London. There was an amazing kurdish Blog called CortexBlend.
I have been trying to get him to post by me.

There are a couple of sites you may find interesting. One is the Saudi Institute ( and the other is American Congress for Truth (, which was founded by a Lebanese woman named Brigitte of the real heroines in the fight against radical Islam.

It is quite sad isn't it!

As in recent months, newspapers continued to feature anti-Semitic caricatures and themes that include conspiracy theories of Jews plotting to control U.S. foreign policy and dominate the world, demonic images of Jews/Israelis, and depictions of the stereotypical Jew (big nose, black coat and hat, skull cap etc.) along with Jewish symbols such as the Star of David.

There seems to be a direct correlation between the illiteracy rate of these countries and the widespread use of this type of "thought control?" (...I can offer no scientific proof, but it seems so obvious)

The "Arab Street" as it's so aptly called by THE ELITE MEDIA can and will believe ... anything! Pay them ... and Bob's your Uncle ...

I think what is most frustrating—and tragic—is how folks like us have watched this going on for so long, only to see it ignored by so many others. It's just as bad as it's ever been, if not worse, and these creeps are still getting away with it.

We can hope that organizations like Palestinian Media Watch, MEMRI, and Honest Reporting will make inroads into the consciences of people who can help to make a difference. And we must remain steadfast in our efforts to fight the hatred of the Arab/Islamic mind-set.

You can say that again.
