Here's Mud in Your Eye...or Tobacco

Apparently a Kansas City man, a vet, spit tobacco juice at Jane Fonda during one of her book signings.

Sarge -- was that you? ;)

Every part of me wants to cheer this guys. But to keep from being a hypocrite, I must state that he shouldn't have done that. Although he didn't do it while she was speaking. I'm torn.

You know, that was my first thought. Only reason I read the article.

My last thought was that there are literally thousands of people who cheered him on when they read that - if not tens or hundreds of thousands.

I just can't blame the man in my heart.

I think i was ment to be symbolic.

It's as he paid her for spitting in their (POWs) faces.

Yeowzaa! This man, although he will face consequences for his action, placed into spittle what many, many Vietnam Veterans have wished ... that this "scab picker" (JF) would get her just reward for giving aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States of America.

"She" is out pimping a book, trying to get her "C" Movie career back into existence ... all the while, making the "circuit" and "acting" as if nothing transpired in those bad old days. One may forgive, but forgetting is a b*tch!

As for chewing tobacco, I tried that once in Panama ... swallowed some juice and was instantaneously "cured" of the habit ... ;)

As I said - it's symbolic.

And it feels good no matter what.
