Question to Fellow Bloggers

OK, is there a way here on Blogger to write a short post, but when you click on the comments, you can go to a much longer version? I have a whammy of a post I want to do, but I don't want a long post taking up so much room on my main page. Help!! :)

Esther, there is a blogger hack that allows this. I use it on my site. The only catch is that it does it to ALL posts. You can find the information here. It's really easy to modify your template to do this.

I knew I could count on the blog community and you didn't let me down, BW. Thank you!!!

So does this mean I have to go back and put the "read more" link on every one? Or does it matter if I don't?

OK, answered my own question, lol. Hopefully this won't be annoying. Feel free to let me know if it is.

Just remember that you have to add the span class="fullpost" at the point you want it to "fold" at and the /span at the end of the post.

Oh, and remember, every single post will have it.

Glad to have helped. :-)

Yeah, the every single post is a bit much but I'll deal with it and I guess change my style a bit. I think it's going to be a good thing. Thanks so much BW!!!!

Hmm...interesting. I'm not happy with my template and will probably change to another. I like this feature, and I'll probably try to use it.
