AIPAC: Now Is The Time

I’m back. My hope is to type up some notes later this afternoon, after work, but in the meantime, there is some stuff you guys can check out if you want. First off, the speech by Dick Cheney was positively historic. He vowed that the U.S. will not allow Iran to get a nuclear bomb. This was HUGE. If you can, catch it on C-SPAN or their Web site to see it or some of the other speeches for yourself. Another great one, which I’m hoping will have a transcript turn up, was John Bolton. Amazing! More later…

Looking forward especially to Bolton's speech, but both sound exciting!

I saw a bit of Bolton's speech on FNC - it sounded awesome! Wish I could've been there!

Yawn.

When Bush and Cheney leave this mess for me or whoever cheats and wins the Presidency, I will still bitch about it.

Hell, I'm still waiting for "shock and awe" bombing in Iraq (we'll know it when we see it).

It was great, Mark! Thanks!

Rebekah -- I wish you had been there, but I'll try my best to make you feel like you were.

Beamish, don't mean to be crass, but who pissed in your cornflakes this morning? ;) Just kidding. I look forward to the speech you make to AIPAC about how you're going to do some major ass-kicking! Brief word to the wise: start working on it now. I want it crisp, reasonably brief and spectacular!

I read his speech and also our MSM were bragging about his mean spirit for while this morning.

You can see Bolton (and probably others) at: http://www.c-span.org/homepage.asp and then just do this search in the video search area: John Bolton, AIPAC

It will show up and you can watch the whole thing. i'm going to continue looking for transcripts but right now I'm going to try to put my notes together on David Kay. He really dissed the U.N. and Hans Blix. Great speech! :)

That's easy, Esther.

"Watch this."

Esther,
You're back! :)

AIPAC didn't get much coverage here in the D.C. area news, so I'll be reading all of your reports.

bwahahahaha Beamish.

Thanks AOW! That is very disappointing that it got so little coverage there. Not surprising, but upsetting nonetheless.

Very little coverage indeed. Thank goodness for the alternative media where we get the facts.

Hi! I'm glad you had a good time, and I can imagine how cool it was to see Cheney in person.

I saw the President in person on one of his re-election stops. He has a commanding prescence, and it was so much more fun than seeing it on TV!
